Noted for her shimmering soprano and exceptional acting skills, Lisa Mandelkorn has excited audiences and received critical acclaim for such diverse portrayals as Constance in Dialogues of the Carmelites and Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia. Equally at home in dramatic and comedic roles, she has been described as "...possessed of a beautiful voice..." and a "...physical and imaginative abandon onstage [that creates] a complete and moving performance."

2002 saw Ms. Mandelkorn in Connecticut Grand Opera's The Impresario (Mademoiselle Silberklang) and in La Serva Padrona (Serpina), both directed by renowned director Christopher Alden. Next, Ms. Mandelkorn appeared in Die Fledermaus (Adele) for Fresno Grand Opera, followed by her third Messiah with the US Naval Academy Choir.

2001 saw Ms. Mandelkorn at the Lincoln Center Festival in the US premier of Phillip Glass's White Raven. Other New York City appearances for Ms. Mandelkorn include Fleurette / Hermia in Offenbach's Barbe Bleu with L'Opéra Français de New York and Elvira in L'Italiana in Algeri as her debut for New York City Opera (following performances of the same role at Glimmerglass Opera).

Lisa Mandelkorn received critical acclaim for her creation of The Somnambulist in the staged production of Handel's Messiah, first with Millennial Arts in New York City and reprised at the Organiste Oude Musiek, Utrecht. She consistently delighted audiences with her performances of Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia at Augusta Opera and Natchez Opera, and Barbarina in Le Nozze die Figaro at Boston Lyric Opera. Applauded for her performances of Gretel in Hansel and Gretel at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (conducted by Anton Coppola), She reprised this role in 2001 with Capital City Opera in Washington DC where she performed Despina in Cosí fan Tutte to critical acclaim later in the year. Other major roles for Ms. Mandelkorn include Tytania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Norina in Don Pasquale and Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro.

Lisa Mandelkorn is a two-time regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and a graduate of the New England conservatory of Music and the Boston University Opera Institute. Ms. Mandelkorn has been a Glimmerglass Opera Young American Artist and has apprenticed with Sarasota Opera, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, and Des Moines Metro Opera. She has worked with such artists as Robert Wilson, Jane Glover, Michael Scarola, and Nick Olcott. Vocal and performance mentors include Sharon Daniels, Diana Soviero, George Manahan, Yves Abel and Christopher Alden.
